Misha Omar in semi-final Muzik-Muzik 2009

Cinta Adam dan Hawa sang by Misha Omar was chosen among the top four-teen songs for the Muzik-Muzik 2009 Final coming January 2010.

Misha was wearing Syaiful Baharim as usual, her hair and make-up was done by Chomel.

Misha Tak Tergugat Dengan Bakat Baru by Li Ee Kee

Siapa yang tidak tertawan dengan persembahan Misha Omar di Separuh Akhir Muzik-Muzik malam tadi? Mengenakan baju kebaya perak-firus yang memukau mata, rekaan Saiful Baharin, ditambah pula dengan lenggok badan dan mainan matanya, GUA terpukau melihat Misha mendendangkan lagu "Cinta Adam & Hawa".


Kongsi Misha selepas pengumuman 14 lagu yang berjaya memasuki Anugerah Juara Lagu (AJL) ke-24, dari awal lagi dia berazam memberikan satu persembahan yang "menyamankan". Sebab itu, dari pemilihan pakaian, suara dan personaliti, itulah yang cuba ditonjolkannya.

Dan nampaknya, apa yang diazamkannya itu berjaya. Tatkala ditanya persembahan siapa yang paling sukar dilupai malam tadi, sudah pasti jawapannya, Misha.

Mungkin juga ini terlahir dari keyakinan yang hanya ada pada seseorang artis yang lebih berpengalaman dan sudah dua kali menang di AJL. Tapi diakui Misha, gabrah juga saat menanti pengumuman 14 lagu yang layak ke AJL24. Namun begitu, baginya, lagu tulisan arwah Loloq ini memang layak.

"Saya sempat berbual dengan arwah dan menurutnya, lagu ini mengenai manusia, kembali ke fitrah asal kita, sebagaimana kita diciptakan dan mengaitkannya kepada kehidupan. Siapa Adam untuk kaum Hawa dan sebaliknya. Besar maksudnya.

“Melodinya pula (dari komposer Azmeer) sangat unik dan susah untuk dilagukan. Bukan saja bahagian tinggi tetapi bahagian rendah juga saya perlu berhati-hati," kata Misha yang menjanjikan satu persembahan yang memberi lebih impak ketika di AJL24 nanti agar mesej lagu ini dapat difahami.

Tambahnya lagi, selepas "Cinta Adam & Hawa" berjaya mencipta sejarah di Anugerah Industri Muzik (AIM) ke-16, dia berazam untuk membawanya ke AJL, dan nyata dia telah berjaya.


Bakal bersaing dengan bakat-bakat baru di pentas AJL24 nanti, buat Misha "inilah baru dikatakan industri muzik. Bila orang lama seperti saya dapat berkongsi pentas dengan anak-anak muda, saya rasa bangga. Kira, masih relevan-lah saya walaupun dengan arus muzik baru.

"Bila kita sudah berdiri sebaris dengan mereka, ia bermakna kita ada kekuatan tersendiri. Saya mewakili artis yang mempunyai jati diri. Tak kira apa citarasa baru dalam industri muzik, kita (artis yang lebih berpengalaman) masih ada di sini. Kita tak perlu rasa tergugat. Saya bangga walaupun di celah-celah orang muda."

Une Soire'e Enchante'e

It was a hectic day before the Fashion show at twenty.one club KL. The club has to be decorated, the runway has to be prepared and the models needs to undergo hours of hair and make-up.

Thanks to all those who were involved in this event. I truly appreciate all the hardworks.

Club twenty.one Couture Show

It was simply a night to remember... October 1st 2009. The Couture show went really well. The crowd was beyond expectations. The club was filled with celebrities, numerous socialites, fashion reporters and a fellow fashion designers. 

Albert King was spotted with his friends. Suzie and the whole GLAM team as well as the InTrend entourages were there. The MURAI team were busy capturing images of the celebs and socialites during the show. My dearests Jeslina Hashim, Vee, Ferhad and Alyssa, Zahida Rafiq, Izrin & Marcus (Innai), Amri, Nini Marini (new found MUSE) & Shazroul were there to spice up the event.

Syaiful Baharim COUTURE 2009

This coming Thursday, October 1st, i will be holding a fashion show for my 2009 Couture Collection. Thanks to club twentyone for making it happen!

The guests & the celebrities have been invited, the deco has been laid out, the hair & make-up team is ever ready,  the gorgeous models are practicing their catwalk ... and last but never the least, the media ... the medias are already cleaning and dusting their lenses to capture every moment during that spectacular event.

Invitation is limited. Walk-in guests will be allowed but only limited seats are available. So, ladies, be your fabulous best and head on to club twentyone for the Runway show.

Couture Runway show

Two weeks ago, I was approached by Club 21 KL to stage a Fashion Show coming October 1st. I was elated! Club 21 is one of my favorite place to hang out. The club is really chic and cozy! So, when i heard this fanta-bulous news, i immediately said yes. 

My good friend, Khir Khalid has also agreed to help me with the make-up. And with his magic touch, needless to say how fabulous the show is going to be!!!

So, guys let me plan for my Runway show and come back soon for more updates.
